Terms of Service
By using our services, you agree to the following terms.
Comfort Corner provides home care services throughout South Carolina. This includes personal care (such as bathing and hygiene), companion care (such as conversation and errands), and medical support under supervision. Services may be part time, full time, or 24/7 depending on your care plan.
We begin with a no cost assessment to understand your needs. From there, we create a custom care plan. Care is delivered by licensed, trained, and background checked caregivers. Our office remains available 24/7 for emergencies and client support.
We ask clients and families to:
-
Provide accurate health and contact information
-
Maintain a safe environment for caregivers
-
Give at least 24 hour notice for cancellations or changes
-
Pay invoices on time and communicate about billing questions
Billing and payment:
Rates are based on the level of care you receive. Invoices are sent weekly or bi-weekly. Payment is due within 30 days. We accept private pay and work with most long term care insurance. There are no hidden fees; all costs are explained upfront before services begin.
Scheduling and emergencies:
We schedule care based on your approved care plan. If changes are needed, please provide at least 24 hour notice. Emergency care and last minute schedule changes are available when needed. If your assigned caregiver is unavailable, we will send a qualified replacement.
In the event of a medical emergency, caregivers are instructed to call 911 first, assist you, and notify your emergency contact. Our office remains available for support at all hours.
All caregivers are:
-
Background checked
-
Licensed or certified as required
-
Bonded and insured
-
Supervised by our professional care team
You may end services at any time with 48 hour notice. We reserve the right to end services if conditions become unsafe for our staff or if payments are not received. There are no termination fees. Final billing is sent within seven days.
This agreement is governed by South Carolina law. Comfort Corner is a licensed care provider. These terms may be updated at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes.
